The Observatory of Spanish in Europe is a research center founded in 2023 at Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS), Heidelberg University. Its main goal is to offer data that can help tackle the emerging trends related to Spanish and its speakers in Europe.

Charlotte Blattner receives Baden-Württemberg Stiftung grant

Charlotte Blattner, research associate of the OSE, has been selected for a grant awarded by the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung under the “Forschungswerkstatt – Deine Idee für Morgen” programme. Over a period of twelve months, she will be provided with funding of approximately 100.000 euros to develop her innovative research proposal.
